Emotions are great sales generator, so you have to make sure that your product offers something on an emotional level and that people are aware of what is it. If you want conversions to occur, forget about features and place an emphasis on peoples emotions.

The next important principle is measuring. This is usually neglected by marketers, bus as you are well aware of, you can not improve anything, if you dont measure it first. Even if your campaign is going exceptionally well, always measure the results and test new ideas. You always need to have the picture of how much every sale costs you and what is the value of each customer you have.

The third principle, and also the most misunderstood and neglected is consumption. This means that your customers are not just buying your products but that they are also using them. The best way to do this is with education. Teach your customers why it is important to use the product but also teach them how to get the most out of it. Consumption will ensure you that the customers will get the full value and that they will not end up returning the product. It will also ensure that when you market something else to them that they will want to buy from you again.

Review your marketing plan and put these principles into practice. Be consistent in implementing them in your business and you will be on your way to success.
